and looks better)
She's an american alternative artist, and so far has only released one
album, "Santogold" (2008), which I imagine some of you may have heard
snippets of, if not all of. I actually heard a song from it when it
was first released but never bothered to follow up the album
because...er...I was still going through my " classic rock is all that
matters" phase. -_-
It's a real catchy album, a fusion of indie, new wave elements,
psychedelic elements and synthpop - with some parts introducing a real
hip-hop vibe.
(ok I'm gonna add the rest the question in the 'Additional Details'
because Yahoo doesn't post my Q to the mainpage if I add links
here....bear with me a second)

(this one in particular I didn't really like at first but has grown on
me - apparently it was written as rejection of the underground New
York music scene and people there who falsely labelled themselves as
innovative and artistic, when in fact they're all just pretending to
be something they're not to get noticed. Some may say "posers" but I
don't like using that word.)

MQ: What do you think of Santi/Santogold?
BQ: What was the last thing you "borrowed without asking" ?
BQ2: The first band you became *mildly* obsessed with?
Thanks ^^
